Before you begin
You must have an existing TD Canada Trust bank account or line of credit to purchase a GIC online.
This account or line of credit will be debited for the value of your investment purchase.
To apply for Joint Accounts, please call EasyLine Telephone Banking at 1-866-222-3456 or visit any
TD Canada Trust Branch.
The application form can be used to purchase GICs to be held outside or inside an RSP.
This application is for personal (non spousal) clients only.
Clients interested in establishing a spousal RSP can do so through their branch or
by calling EasyLine Telephone Banking at 1-866-222-3456.
To ensure that your RSP deposit is processed for the 2008 tax year,
applications must be received by midnight EST March 1, 2009.

Existing personal TD Canada Trust branch and account numbers
If the account will be used on behalf of someone other than the named account holder(s), you will be required to provide information on the individual or business.
If there is more than one business, please call EasyLine at 1-866-222-3456 or visit any
TD Canada Trust Branch.
Apply online and TD Canada Trust will add an interest bonus - ½%
on Canadian dollar 1 - 5 year GICs* and ¼% on US dollar GICs -
to the posted rate if you choose a one- to five-year long-term simple interest GIC1 or long-term compound interest GIC.
